“Working to improve & expand public land for the benefit of citizens, wildlife and the environment”

Founded by Dominic Aiello in 2009, Project Wilderness works to improve & expand public land for the benefit of citizens, wildlife and the environment. We are a “boots on the ground” organization that reaches its goals by community engagement, volunteerism and corporate support.

“Raised in the Midwest, I was always disappointed with how far reaching urban sprawl had become and the general lack of respect for our limited public land. Moving to Oregon, I realized that generations before us understood that the Pacific Northwest is a treasure to be enjoyed and protected. I was inspired by the dedication to stewardship that exists.” - Dominic Aiello
